We strongly condemn the heinous attack against Representative Gabrielle Giffords and her constituents that occurred in Arizona last weekend.

On this very sad occasion, we wish a speedy recovery to Representative Giffords who is struggling for her life and all others who were wounded, and convey our deepest condolences to the bereaved families of those who lost their lives as well as to the people of the United States of America.
